Greetings! My name is Nina but you can call me Doc Wash! I am a World Traveler, Physician, and lover of life and its lessons. After traversing the United States to achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a Pediatric Rheumatologist, I took a sabbatical from medicine in June 2019.
What was my new plan?
A quest to travel the world, visiting 12 countries in 12 months.
However, what I didn't plan for was a global pandemic during my travels. That led to me being "stuck" in beautiful Split, Croatia for the past 9 months! Coronavirus aside, it was the best 9 months of my life! Now I'm back in Mississippi and I am figuring out my next steps one day at a time.
